  • Spearhead the business development process from origination to execution, ensuring smooth investor conversion and onboarding.
  • Work closely with Investment teams to align client engagement strategies and share knowledge efficiently.
  • Coordinate with various departments such as Investment, Operations, Legal, Marketing, and Communications to provide integrated impact investing solutions and address client inquiries.
  • Build and sustain long-term, trust-based relationships with key institutional investors, banks, family offices, wealth managers, consultants, and other stakeholders.
  • Gather and relay client needs and market insights to internal teams, proactively positioning investment solutions and funds.
  • Maintain strong visibility and engagement within client organizations and the wider industry by representing the firm at conferences, seminars, and relevant events.

Key Qualifications and Experience

  • Demonstrated success in originating and closing new business with leading institutional and professional clients, including negotiation and fundraising competencies.
  • Established network within German institutional investors and intermediaries, with credibility to anticipate client needs and foster lasting relationships.
  • Ability to effectively position investment strategies, communicate insights clearly, and present to senior decision-makers and investment committees.
  • Skillful multi-tasker capable of thriving in dynamic environments and engaging senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working within matrix organizations, strong internal networking capabilities, and ability to operate independently while leveraging group resources.
  • Preferred knowledge includes private markets dynamics, trends in sustainable investing and impact investing, and emerging markets expertise.
  • Fluency in English and German is mandatory; proficiency in French or Italian is advantageous.

Personal Attributes

  • A dynamic and adaptable leader passionate about impact investing.
  • Innovative thinker able to devise and implement solutions to complex problems.
  • Exemplifies integrity, professionalism, and fosters a culture of high performance.
  • Resilient under pressure, ambitious, and fully committed to achieving success.
