About Revolut
Revolut was founded in 2015 with a mission to give people more from their money — greater visibility, stronger control, and more freedom. Its range of products spans spending, saving, investing, exchanging, travelling, and more, serving more than 70 million customers worldwide.
As the company expands quickly, its people and culture remain central to success. Revolut has been recognised as a Great Place to Work™, and its global team now includes over 13,000 people working both in offices and remotely. The business is looking for exceptional talent that enjoys building strong products, challenging the usual way of doing things, and simplifying complexity into elegant solutions.
About the Role
The Compliance function combines regulatory knowledge with analytical, data-led thinking to ensure products satisfy legal and policy obligations while still creating value for customers. In a rapidly changing digital setting, the team focuses on practical and scalable ways to manage conduct risk.
Revolut is seeking a Business Compliance Manager to serve as a first-line, product-focused compliance partner in New Zealand. The role will provide guidance on retail banking and payments features, customer communications, and financial promotions, while helping products navigate demanding regulatory requirements.
What You'll Do
- Bring specialist compliance knowledge to solve complex regulatory questions.
- Support compliance considerations across the full product lifecycle.
- Work as a bridge between first-line and second-line teams.
- Guide retail products through a challenging regulatory environment.
- Help ensure product launches are compliant, efficient, and well-executed.
- Spot possible compliance risks within retail product offerings.
- Develop practical approaches to stay ahead of changing regulatory expectations.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to build and implement compliance policies that satisfy legal needs and support growth.
- Equip product teams with the guidance and tools needed to make compliance part of everyday innovation.
- Act as the main contact point for regulators and support successful audit outcomes.
What You'll Need
- At least 3 years of experience in regulatory compliance.
- A strong history of high achievement across different areas of work.
- Clear understanding of how compliance risk connects with business risk.
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
- Comfort working under pressure, handling several projects at once, and meeting strict deadlines.
Nice to Have
- A STEM degree, or another highly quantitative qualification, from a leading university.
- Background in banking, strategy consulting, or a rapidly growing technology business.
Diversity and Inclusion
Revolut states that it actively encourages applications from people with varied backgrounds and experiences, as part of its commitment to building an inclusive and multicultural workplace. The company’s D&I Framework was introduced to support continued growth and innovation through diverse hiring.
