Job description
Role Summary
We are looking to employ a dedicated Business and Pathway Improvement Manager to enhance operational and clinical effectiveness within Oxfordshire's Mental Health Inpatient Units. This full-time position involves advancing service improvements, managing performance data, and supporting business functions collaboratively with senior clinical leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive identification and execution of service enhancements aligning with both national and local health care priorities.
- Lead the design, rollout, and assessment of improvement projects using data insights and established best practices.
- Manage service transformation initiatives ensuring stakeholder engagement and clear reporting to senior leaders.
- Collaborate with clinicians, managers, and external entities to innovate patient care models and service delivery methods.
- Track and assess the effectiveness of improvements, suggesting ongoing refinements grounded in data analysis and stakeholder feedback.
- Partner with Senior Matrons to develop and standardize operating procedures aimed at optimizing the urgent care pathway.
- Regularly update and embed SOPs to boost safety, consistency, and efficiency in care processes.
- Create and sustain rigorous performance monitoring frameworks that underpin continuous service enhancement.
