About the Role
Amazon is seeking a sharp, analytical, and customer-focused Business Analyst to support the Inbound Supply Chain team within Operations. This role is suited to someone who pays close attention to detail, enjoys solving complex business and technical challenges, and can communicate clearly in both written and verbal formats. Strong hands-on experience with Advanced Excel and SQL is important for success in this position.

What You'll Work On
- Use data analysis and automation to improve processes and support supply chain operations.
- Build insights and reports that help leadership make informed decisions.
- Work with large datasets and apply analytical methods to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.
- Develop or support data models, warehouse tables, and reporting structures as needed.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives through analysis and automation.
- Present findings clearly to internal stakeholders and senior leadership when required.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in data analytics or automation.
- A bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification.
- Hands-on knowledge of SQL, Python/R, scripting, MS Excel, table joins, and aggregate functions.
- Practical proficiency in Python scripting.
- Understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and creating new data warehouse tables.
Preferred Background
- Experience improving processes through automation and analysis, or presenting analytical outcomes to senior leaders.
- An MBA or bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics, or a related discipline.
- Exposure to e-commerce, retail, supply chain, or financial services environments.
- Experience preparing reports and analysis for leadership teams.
- Comfort working with very large datasets.
