Job description
Role Overview
This role involves conducting comprehensive credit assessments and financial evaluations of lending proposals to support decision-making at Credit Committee (CC) level. The analyst will assess the sustainability of revenue and profitability figures, review audit reports for potential issues, perform promoter and profile background checks, evaluate legal and technical aspects of collateral properties, and analyze external credit rating reports concerning group companies.
Portfolio Monitoring
Regular surveillance of the existing credit portfolio is required to evaluate account quality, detect early warning signals, and verify adherence to sanction terms and covenants. Ensuring compliance with Over-the-Counter (OTC) norms, Pre-Delivery Documents (PDD), and sanction letter stipulations is essential.
Regulatory & Compliance Activities
The professional must remain current with regulatory updates, circulars, and guidelines to incorporate any changes timely into portfolio management practices, thus ensuring compliance across all accounts.
Management Information Systems (MIS)
Preparation and ongoing updates of MIS reports necessary for the Risk and Business Heads are expected to support continuous portfolio monitoring and quality assurance.
Audit Engagement
Active liaison with audit and operations teams will be needed to address audit queries and provide required data by coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders.
