Job description
Role Overview
This position is responsible for conducting thorough credit assessments and evaluations of SME lending proposals to facilitate informed decision-making at the Credit Committee level.
Primary Responsibilities
- Carry out detailed financial analysis and evaluation of lending proposals, focusing on revenue sustainability, profitability, and reviewing auditor reports to spot potential risks.
- Verify the background and profile of promoters and conduct legal and technical reviews of properties proposed as collateral.
- Analyze credit rating reports to interpret perspectives from external rating agencies on group companies.
- Monitor the performance and quality of the existing loan portfolio regularly, identifying risks or breaches in sanction terms and covenants.
- Ensure compliance with Overdue to Customer (OTC), Portfolio Due Diligence (PDD), and all covenants specified in sanction letters.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes, guidelines, and notifications; enforce timely adjustments to portfolio accounts based on these updates.
- Prepare and update Management Information System (MIS) reports demanded by the Risk team and Business Heads to supervise portfolio health and quality.
- Engage with audit and operations teams to address audit queries and facilitate data sharing among internal and external stakeholders.
