Role overview

Pan Pacific Hotels Group is a growing hospitality business made up of three trusted brands: Pan Pacific®, PARKROYAL COLLECTION® and PARKROYAL®. The company is expanding rapidly and is looking for a motivated, energetic professional who shares a passion for the hospitality sector and is committed to building a service excellence culture.

This position is based at the corporate office in Singapore and reports to the Vice President, Performance Management. The selected candidate will support business intelligence and hotel performance work by turning data into practical insights that improve decision-making, operations, and overall portfolio performance.

Business intelligence and dashboarding

  • Assist in building, implementing, and continuously improving dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI and other analytical tools.
  • Keep reporting databases, dashboards, and visualisation tools current so that stakeholders receive accurate information on time.
  • Prepare regular operational and performance reports, and handle ad hoc analytical and data requests.
  • Check, validate, and resolve data issues to maintain data quality, consistency, and governance standards.
  • Look for ways to improve reporting workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and make data easier to access for users.
  • Support the organisation-wide rollout and adoption of dashboarding initiatives.

Hotel performance and business analysis

  • Review hotel and business unit results versus budgets, forecasts, previous year performance, and industry benchmarks, then provide practical recommendations.
  • Create monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports and presentations for management review.
  • Build and refine financial and operational models used for reporting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
  • Carry out market and industry research, including environmental scanning, visitor arrival trends, competitive comparisons, and other relevant indicators.
  • Examine hotel budgets, business plans, capital expenditure proposals, and asset enhancement initiatives, assessing risks, opportunities, and expected returns.
  • Provide analytical support for corporate projects and strategic initiatives that aim to strengthen business performance across the hotel portfolio.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business, Finance, Analytics, Statistics, Real Estate, or Hospitality Management from a recognised institution. Experience of 1 to 2 years in data analytics, business intelligence, financial analysis, or a similar area is preferred, especially within hospitality.

You should be comfortable working with visualisation and BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau, and have strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Exposure to ERP and accounting systems, particularly SAP, will be an advantage.

This role calls for strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, careful attention to detail, and the ability to convert complex information into clear recommendations. The successful candidate should also be a proactive learner, adaptable in a fast-paced environment, and able to manage multiple priorities with resilience and resourcefulness.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are important, along with the ability to collaborate across teams, present findings to stakeholders at different levels, and work with professionalism, integrity, and accountability.
