About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst specialized in the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance sector. The role involves collaborating with multiple stakeholders to develop scalable web applications and seamless integrations between backend and frontend services, ensuring excellent user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, and thoroughly document business requirements specific to P&C insurance solutions.
  • Engage closely with business leaders, product owners, and technology teams to align understanding.
  • Convert business needs into detailed functional specifications and user stories for development teams.
  • Perform gap analyses and propose improvements to current processes.
  • Assist with user acceptance testing, track defects, and validate solutions.
  • Ensure all processes comply with P&C insurance workflows and relevant regulatory standards.
  • Lead workshops, facilitate discussions with clients, and manage requirements sessions.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and quality project delivery.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • More than 10 years of experience in the Property & Casualty insurance domain, including policy, claims, and underwriting areas.
  • Proven expertise in business analysis and requirement gathering methodologies.
  • In-depth understanding of the insurance lifecycle and operational workflows.
  • Experience operating within Agile or Scrum frameworks.
  • Strong skills in stakeholder engagement and effective communication.
  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector is advantageous.
  • Educational background including B.E., B.Tech., MBA, or MCA degrees.
