Product Manager - Billing Platforms

Overview

We invite an experienced Product Manager to take charge of strategy, development, and enhancement of billing platforms and client-facing billing solutions in a global payments and risk management setting. The role centers on delivering precise, scalable, and compliant billing experiences that facilitate revenue processes and improve client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full product lifecycle of billing solutions from concept through delivery and ongoing iterations.
• Set and maintain billing product roadmap aligned with company goals, client requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with Finance, Technology, and Operations teams to ensure billing solutions are accurate, scalable, and auditable.
• Perform Scrum Product Owner duties for billing squads, including backlog prioritization and scrum participation.
• Collect and analyze requirements from stakeholders, regional teams, and customers to drive product decisions.
• Create detailed product specifications covering invoice accuracy, fee transparency, dispute handling, and settlement processes.
• Track product performance and foster continuous improvement via data insights and customer feedback.
• Work cross-functionally to resolve billing disputes and escalate client issues effectively.
• Ensure compliance of billing products with financial regulations, audits, and internal policies.
• Collaborate with Sales and Client Services to identify client billing issues and transform these into product enhancements.
• Contribute to early product development stages with market, financial, and data analyses, including business case preparation.
• Communicate effectively across Product, Technology, Finance, Legal, Sales, and Client Services teams.
• Support the larger product strategy and commercialization efforts within the Billing, Invoicing, and Risk Solutions (BIRS) domain.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Between 9 to 15 years of total work experience, with a Bachelor’s degree or at least 7 years of relevant experience if holding an advanced degree (e.g., MBA, Masters, JD, PhD).
• Minimum 5 years in product management, preferably within fintech, billing systems, payments, or revenue operations.
• Proven ability to define and implement product strategies within a dynamic, agile environment with strict deadlines.
• Experience handling billing platforms, invoice management, or financial systems is desirable.
• Strong analytical capabilities for interpreting complex financial data to inform product choices.
• Excellent interpersonal skills capable of engaging with global and multicultural teams.
• Problem-solving mindset capable of managing uncertainty and balancing business trade-offs.
