About the Role
Hitachi Energy’s Grid Integration business has completed more than 4,000 projects over the past 15 years. Its portfolio covers a broad mix of transmission and substation use cases that support a reliable, efficient future digital electric network while keeping environmental impact low. The business combines DC and AC solutions and services across HVDC, Substations, FACTS, Grid and Power Quality solutions, including offshore wind connections, semiconductors, and power consulting for key energy segments such as renewables, transmission and distribution, and e-transportation.
This position is for a high-impact Business Analyst in the Asia Hub team. You will work closely with the Asia Hub Manager and the Asia Management Team as a strategic partner. The role is not limited to standard market analysis; it contributes directly to shaping business and market strategy across Asia. You will help define go-to-market direction, organizational positioning, and alignment with the global organization, while turning these ideas into practical insights and communication materials for internal audiences. The work sits at the crossroads of strategy, execution, and communication, with a focus on improving clarity, consistency, and alignment across the region and with global business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Asia Hub Manager and management team in building, improving, and executing regional business strategy, while converting global priorities into local actions.
- Develop go-to-market direction and market intelligence by following customer trends, monitoring the competitive landscape, and spotting new growth opportunities.
- Strengthen organizational positioning and coordination so the Asia Hub works effectively with global business units and aligns to an optimized regional operating model.
- Own executive-level communication and storytelling by turning strategy and data into strong presentations, strategy papers, and internal communication content.
- Create clear and consistent messaging for varied audiences so regional initiatives stay aligned with global corporate standards.
- Carry out structured market and competitor analysis, assess demand drivers and competitor positioning, and provide fact-based recommendations to support leadership decisions.
- Ensure work is performed in line with all applicable external and internal rules, procedures, and guidelines.

Candidate Profile
- Prior experience in business analysis, strategy, or market intelligence in a multinational, cross-functional setting.
- Strong strategic mindset with the ability to analyze, synthesize, and move comfortably between big-picture thinking and practical execution.
- Excellent capability to connect data, strategy, and implementation into clear, actionable messaging.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex topics in a simple way for different audiences.
- Comfortable collaborating with senior leaders and influencing stakeholders through well-structured insights.
- High sense of ownership, strong attention to detail, and a consistent focus on clarity in deliverables.
