What you will do
- Collect, evaluate, and clearly record business and functional requirements.
- Partner with healthcare, IT, and wider business teams to advance project work.
- Review healthcare workflows and suggest ways to improve processes.
- Create documentation for business processes, along with reports and dashboards.
- Assist with system testing, user acceptance testing, and rollout activities.
- Prepare project-related documents and share key insights with stakeholders.
Experience and qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Information Technology, or a similar discipline is required.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in the healthcare sector.
- Prior experience in gathering business requirements and writing functional specifications.
- Working knowledge of healthcare processes and data analysis.
- Strong skills in analysis, communication, and problem-solving.
Preferred skills and exposure
- Experience working with SQL, Power BI, or Tableau is preferred.
- Familiarity with healthcare systems such as EHR or EMR.
- Exposure to Agile or Scrum delivery methods.
- Basic understanding of HIPAA compliance.
- Professional certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, ECBA, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) are considered an advantage.
Compensation and work authorization
The annual compensation for this position is between $65,000 and $75,000. Candidates must already be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
