Position Overview

As a Business Analyst within an agile squad, you will take ownership of products and processes related to investment advisory. You will support the Product Owner in enhancing solutions that align customer needs, market demands, and regulatory standards, ensuring high-quality, practical, and well-founded outcomes from conception through development to launch.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently analyze, evaluate, and align business requirements in the banking domain, especially in investment advisory.
  • Create detailed business concepts, requirements documents, and user stories as a foundation for technical implementation.
  • Support the Product Owner with backlog management, prioritization, refinement, and release planning.
  • Document business processes and interface requirements, deriving functional and non-functional requirements through requirements engineering.
  • Design and execute business test cases, assist with test automation, and ensure the functional quality of deliverables.
  • Monitor market trends and regulatory changes to provide actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate closely with business units, development teams, and partners in a solution-oriented and professional manner.
  • Contribute throughout the product lifecycle from conception through testing, piloting, rollout, and ongoing maintenance.

Candidate Profile

  • Completed banking training or degree focused on finance, business informatics, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Professional experience in the banking sector, particularly in investment advisory.
  • Experience in requirements analysis, process management, and agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
  • Familiarity with testing and quality assurance, preferably using tools like Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or ADOIT.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements and processes within banking.
  • Excellent written and spoken German language skills.
