About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with demonstrated expertise in the Capital Markets domain to join our dynamic team in Hyderabad. The candidate will serve as a crucial liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, effectively collecting and analyzing requirements, preparing functional documentation, and ensuring the successful delivery of business solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage closely with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements focused on capital markets activities such as trading, settlement, risk management, and compliance.
- Perform gap analysis and feasibility assessments to support strategic projects and initiatives.
- Develop comprehensive requirement documents, functional specifications, and use cases.
- Collaborate with development teams to guarantee that solutions meet business objectives and regulatory mandates.
- Lead workshops and stakeholder sessions to build consensus and clarify expectations.
- Facilitate grooming sessions with technology teams to author user stories and offer clarifications on requirements.
- Present Sprint demos to business units, obtaining approvals before production deployment.
- Support test data preparation, review test scenarios, plan and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and manage defect tracking.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of six years as a Business Analyst within the BFSI sector, specializing in Capital Markets.
- Strong knowledge of financial instruments such as equities, derivatives, and fixed income, along with understanding of trading lifecycles and market infrastructure.
- Proficiency in tools including JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, and Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional communication, presentation abilities, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements relevant to the domain.
- Experience working within Agile and Scrum development environments.
