Business Analyst, AI & Enterprise - Pharmaceutical Industry

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Business Analyst with expertise in pharmaceutical industries to spearhead the development of cutting-edge AI-enabled business solutions using cloud platforms. This role involves partnering with diverse stakeholders to translate complex business challenges into actionable technical requirements within a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, assess, and document comprehensive business requirements for AI-driven applications.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to map processes, identify challenges, and define goals.
• Transform business needs into detailed user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Create process flow diagrams, use cases, and other necessary documentation.
• Lead workshops, coordinate requirement gathering sessions, and review solutions with technical and business teams.
• Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to verify solution fulfillment.
• Define and refine requirements for AI and cloud initiatives, including data quality and governance standards.
• Support evaluation and continuous enhancement of AI models to ensure alignment with business goals and regulatory compliance.
• Bridge communications between business users and technical teams throughout project lifecycles using Agile methodologies.
• Maintain project artifacts and documentation within Jira and Confluence platforms.
• Ensure compliance with regulations through validation documentation and traceability contributing to audit preparedness.
• Manage change documentation and assist in regulatory adherence throughout projects.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of four years of experience as a Business Analyst on enterprise software projects.
• Previous engagement in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical devices, or similarly FDA-regulated sectors.
• Exposure to AI, Machine Learning, analytics, or cloud technology projects.
• Proficiency in business process analysis, requirements elicitation, and documentation.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum frameworks.
• Strong skills in Jira and Confluence.
• Working knowledge of SQL for data analysis and validation purposes.
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management capabilities.

Desirable Skills

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, Azure, or AWS.
• Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, or Machine Learning projects.
• Knowledge of data governance, lineage, or integration initiatives.
• Exposure to GxP, GAMP, CSV, CSA standards, and regulated software validation.
• Experience with enterprise systems like SAP, Veeva, LIMS, MES, TrackWise, or Salesforce.
• Business Analysis certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA, and Agile credentials.
