About the Role
GSK is hiring a Business Alignment & Pipeline Planning Manager to join its Business Strategy & Commercial Excellence team in New Zealand. The position focuses on strengthening cross-functional coordination and guiding early commercial planning for pipeline assets to support greater efficiency and business outcomes.
What You’ll Do
- Partner in early-stage commercial planning and carry out due diligence for pipeline assets.
- Improve alignment, planning rigor, and operational efficiency across commercial functions.
- Contribute to strategic planning and ongoing operating planning across the organisation.
- Work with stakeholders across teams to help ensure strong launch readiness.
About You
The ideal candidate is commercially aware, strategically strong, and comfortable influencing in a complex environment.
Experience and Capability
- Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing, business development, and/or new product planning; experience in pharma is preferred.
- Strong capability in analysis and strategic thinking.
- Proven ability to influence without formal authority and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- A broad, business-oriented perspective with the ability to recognise cross-functional challenges and focus on what drives results.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to distil complex topics into clear, simple language.
