Position Overview
The Bundle Growth Senior Manager will spearhead the strategic development and coordinated activation of bundle and add-on product offerings across the entire customer journey, initially prioritizing the integration of NFL Network and NFL+ Premium within ESPN's direct-to-consumer (DTC) subscription bundles such as ESPN Unlimited.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead marketing strategy formulation for bundle and add-on positioning across ESPN DTC products and customer interaction points.
- Define integration methods of key bundle components including sports properties, premium add-ons, and partner offerings into the subscriber value proposition.
- Create scalable marketing frameworks for bundles and add-ons covering customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and win-back campaigns.
- Ensure bundle strategies align with subscriber strategies, business goals, and evolving consumer value drivers.
- Develop and communicate marketing approaches for bundles and add-ons across diverse channels and touchpoints.
- Collaborate closely with media teams to prioritize media and audience strategies on and off ESPN platforms.
- Act as a strategic liaison for incorporating NFL offerings into the broader bundle ecosystem and coordinate with NFL marketing teams for messaging and strategy execution.
- Ensure sports integrations support immediate campaigns as well as long-term acquisition and retention objectives.
Candidate Requirements
- At least six years of marketing experience, focusing on subscription marketing, marketing strategy, or allied fields.
- Minimum two years’ experience in direct-to-consumer marketing.
- Proven experience leading strategic cross-functional initiatives involving multiple channels, stakeholders, and business objectives.
- Deep expertise in subscription business models, DTC marketing, lifecycle marketing, and customer journey mapping.
- Experience crafting messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies for complex consumer products.
- Ability to influence senior leadership and align cross-team efforts without direct managerial authority.
- Strong strategic mindset complemented by a results-driven approach and meticulous attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in media, streaming services, sports, entertainment, or subscription consumer businesses.
- Knowledge of bundle strategies, add-on packaging, and multi-product subscriber experiences.
- Experience collaborating with creative, CRM, and media teams to optimize entire marketing funnels.
- Prior work with sports properties, content partnerships, or complex matrix organizations.
Educational Background
Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Digital Media, or a related discipline.
Additional Information
The position is based in New York, NY and reports to the Senior Director of DTC Marketing. Compensation ranges from $121,000 to $162,200 annually, with the final salary influenced by factors including geographic location, relevant experience, and skills. Bonus and long-term incentive units may be offered alongside a comprehensive benefits package.
