About The Hotel on Pownal
The Hotel on Pownal, part of The Great George Properties, is a 45-room property in a central Charlottetown location that serves both leisure and business guests. The hotel is known for a continental breakfast with options for different dietary needs, afternoon cookies, and a weekday evening reception featuring complimentary wine and locally brewed beer.
Role Summary
As the Breakfast Attendant, you will help create a welcoming and well-run breakfast experience for hotel guests while supporting the hotel’s standards of service and presentation.
Key Duties
- Welcome guests warmly and provide a friendly first point of contact in the breakfast area.
- Keep the breakfast space tidy, free from waste and debris, and make sure all equipment remains in proper working condition.
- Support guest satisfaction throughout the breakfast period.
- Present, replenish, and manage food offerings in line with The Hotel on Pownal’s standards and guest expectations.
- Carry out basic food preparation tasks as needed.
- Load and run the dishwasher.
- Handle additional tasks assigned by management.
- Scheduled shift hours are 6:45 AM to 1:00 PM.
