Job description

Role overview

This position sits within Google’s marketing organization and focuses on shaping the APAC brand strategy for Pixel launches. The role connects upstream global planning with local market execution, ensuring campaigns are culturally relevant, strategically sound, and effective across the region. It involves close collaboration with global, regional, and local stakeholders spanning marketing, product, creative, and communications functions.

Google’s marketing approach combines technology and user insight to create work that highlights how products solve real problems. In this role, you will help guide the end-to-end journey of brand campaigns, from strategic framing and audience insight to creative review and market adaptation.

Minimum qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent level of practical experience.
  • At least 6 years of marketing experience across one or more areas such as brand marketing, creative production, or brand communications.
  • Current authorization to work in Singapore, as applicants who do not require visa sponsorship will be prioritized.

Preferred qualifications

  • Strong familiarity with the APAC market, especially Japan, India, Australia, and Taiwan, along with an understanding of local cultural and consumer differences.
  • Comfort handling long-running, high-pressure programs that span multiple quarters and involve large volumes of creative output across several workflows.
  • The ability to balance strategic thinking with practical, hands-on problem solving.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to earn trust, resolve disagreements, and influence stakeholders across global, regional, and local teams.
  • Highly developed presentation and storytelling skills, including the ability to distill complex information into clear narratives for senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Lead APAC brand marketing direction for new Pixel launches and help shape the broader global campaign strategy so it delivers strong results across the region.
  • Bring consumer insight and campaign performance data from APAC into global creative and strategic development discussions.
  • Review global briefs, concepts, and production work to make sure multi-channel assets, especially ATL materials, are suitable and effective for APAC markets.
  • Localize global brand platforms so they feel authentic in APAC, working closely with local teams to surface market-specific nuances and address any gaps.
  • Represent APAC social strategy for Google Pixel across internal forums and global task forces, and champion social-led creative ideas and new platform approaches during campaign planning.
