Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Brand Manager to spearhead marketing initiatives in the UK. This role demands a blend of creative vision and commercial acumen aimed at boosting brand prominence and customer footfall to our restaurants. Reporting directly to the UK Head of Marketing, the successful candidate will operate within a flat organizational structure, enjoying direct engagement with senior leaders and global brand teams while contributing to both strategic planning and hands-on execution.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and own a comprehensive marketing strategy to enhance restaurant traffic and positively influence consumer perception.
- Oversee the full marketing mix including above-the-line and below-the-line campaigns, managing relationships with creative agencies and key stakeholders.
- Lead national campaign initiatives from concept to implementation to build sustained brand visibility.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams involving commercial finance, restaurant operations, and food innovation to ensure alignment with brand strategy.
- Cultivate strong partnerships with franchise operators to facilitate successful brand strategy rollout.
- Identify growth opportunities to increase brand relevance and market share through core activations, limited-time offers, and value propositions.
- Leverage insights and best practices from global Taco Bell markets for marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to align all online marketing efforts with overall strategies.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of professional marketing experience, preferably within QSR, retail, FMCG, or food sectors.
- Progressed through marketing roles demonstrating capability in brand building and performance-focused marketing campaigns.
- Proficient in managing creative processes including briefing, production oversight (TV, photoshoots), agency management, budgeting, and timelines.
- Data-oriented decision maker with a strategic mindset and the capacity to transform strategies into practical action plans.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
- Experience in launching new products and developing marketing calendars for multiple markets is highly desirable.
- Adaptable and proactive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Understanding of restaurant and retail operations, with strong negotiation skills and partnership building capabilities.
