About the Role
Starbucks is looking for a Brand Manager II for its Global Coffee Alliance, a partnership with Nestlé established in 2018. This role focuses on Starbucks Foodservice, which extends beyond traditional coffeehouses to capture off-premise beverage occasions across 50 global markets. The position involves collaborating closely with Nestlé partners and internal teams to craft strategies and tools to grow and protect the Starbucks Foodservice brand worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning, governance, and partnership initiatives defining the future direction and growth of the Starbucks and Nestlé collaboration within Foodservice.
- Manage a variety of projects focused on growth, innovation, operational excellence, and compliance; develop communication frameworks and working protocols with Nestlé teams in Europe and Starbucks teams worldwide.
- Implement and optimize tools and processes to ensure consistent execution, evaluate program effectiveness, and introduce scalable improvements to enhance quality, compliance, and business outcomes.
- Develop decision-making frameworks considering consumer needs, brand standards, partnership dynamics, business objectives, and operational perspectives.
Qualifications and Experience
- 6-10 years of progressive experience in brand management, business strategy, innovation, partnership management, or related commercial leadership roles.
- Proven ability to recognize business opportunities and translate strategic plans into actionable execution across functions like innovation, business development, operations, or program management.
- Experience establishing performance measurement systems with KPIs, milestones, program evaluation, executive reporting, and accountability among stakeholders.
- Demonstrated skill in setting up governance structures, portfolio management processes, and team working norms to drive alignment and execution.
- Knowledge of product development, menu strategy, innovation, and customer experience, with a capability to convert objectives into scalable initiatives.
- Global mindset with the aptitude to build relationships, influence cross-cultural teams spanning multiple time zones, and foster alignment.
