Job description

About the role

As the Brand Manager for Angel’s Envy, you will be a key part of the brand organization, helping deliver strong in-market execution and driving the brand’s growth agenda. Based in Louisville, KY, this role owns planning and execution for major consumer programs within the brand’s Integrated Activity Plan. You will work to improve brand performance and value share while keeping all initiatives aligned with Angel’s Envy’s positioning and commercial goals.

This is a hands-on marketing role that blends strategic thinking with execution. It calls for someone who can handle multiple priorities, turn analysis into action, manage complexity, and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver results across several workstreams at once.

Opportunity

You should bring an entrepreneurial mindset and a genuine passion for building a brand as if it were your own. Success in this role depends on comfort working with diverse stakeholders across functions, cultures, and levels of seniority, along with the confidence to influence priorities while maintaining strong collaboration.

You will partner closely with Brand, Advocacy, Customer Marketing, Commercial Planning & Activation, and external agencies to help shape and execute programs that support business growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop the brand’s below-the-line strategy in partnership with Commercial, Customer Marketing, and Commercial Planning teams, defining how Angel’s Envy appears across on-premise and off-premise channels.
  • Own selected consumer-facing initiatives and coordinate with internal teams and outside partners to ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Act as the brand lead for advocacy and programming, working with the Global Brand Ambassador, local ambassadors, and internal teams on strategy, program management, budgets, and performance tracking.
  • Lead joint planning with Sales and Commercial Planning & Activation, using consumer insights and commercial analytics to spot opportunities and create programs that support commercial success.
  • Serve as Inter-Agency Team Lead for year-round gifting tentpole activations, Kentucky Derby programs, and evergreen occasions, overseeing full through-the-line execution.
  • Guide the creation of point-of-sale materials and a scalable global toolkit that fits the brand’s luxury positioning and works across markets.
  • Support the Commercial Planning & Activation Director in managing and improving the Angel’s Envy Retail Specialist program so it stays aligned with brand and business priorities.
  • Assist the Senior Brand Manager with product and lifestyle photoshoots, including planning, coordination, and execution of creative assets for owned channels.
  • Contribute to the annual Integrated Activity Planning process through brand performance review and pricing/impact analysis.
  • Take part in monthly and quarterly cross-functional business reviews, turning performance data into actionable insights and helping lead measurement and evaluation for brand programs.
  • Manage and optimize the advertising and promotional budget assigned to you, making smart investment choices that improve return while keeping costs efficient.
  • Work closely with Consumer Insights to measure results and improve the effectiveness of brand activities.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related discipline is required; an MBA is considered a strong advantage.
  • At least 4 years of experience in brand management, or agency experience leading multiple marketing projects.
  • Experience in spirits, beverages, FMCG, lifestyle brands, or an experiential agency is preferred; luxury brand exposure is an added advantage.
  • Background across multiple marketing disciplines such as advocacy, POS materials, social, media, analytics, and commercial work.
  • Understanding of profit drivers and the ability to apply a commercial lens to brand planning.
  • Ability to analyze data such as Nielsen inputs, understand category and competitive context, and use findings to prepare reports, presentations, recommendations, and problem-solving insights.
  • Strong creativity, innovation, and consumer-first thinking.
  • Highly organized, self-directed, able to juggle multiple priorities, and able to act with integrity and professionalism.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, including confidence presenting to small groups and senior stakeholders such as executives, vendors, customers, and internal teams.
