Role overview
University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust is seeking a motivated and dependable Biomedical Scientist to join the Blood Transfusion team. The role offers an opportunity to contribute to an important clinical service while working within a professional and collaborative laboratory environment.
Working pattern
This position requires flexibility to support any of the three UHL sites as needed, and duties may be scheduled at any time across a 24/7 service.
Main purpose of the role
The successful applicant will support the Blood Transfusion Department by helping the section manager with day-to-day operations and service delivery. The post calls for someone who can handle a busy workload, maintain high standards, and contribute effectively both independently and as part of a team.
