Role Overview and Responsibilities

• Accurately generate billing for both inpatient and outpatient cases.
• Validate patient data, insurance policies, and billing specifics before invoicing.
• Handle various payment modes including cash, card, UPI, and insurance settlements.
• Work closely with insurance and TPA teams to facilitate claim procedures efficiently.
• Keep comprehensive records of all billing transactions and financial documents.
• Address and resolve patient inquiries related to billing discrepancies promptly.
• Compile daily reports summarizing billing and collections.
• Adhere to hospital's billing standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure bills are accurate to support timely patient discharges.
• Perform reconciliation of billing and payment data routinely.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding patient and financial information.
