Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join the Voda Bar team at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray. This role involves delivering superior bar services, crafting premium cocktails, and providing personalized recommendations to enhance guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand and fulfill guests' beverage preferences, offering knowledgeable suggestions and upselling when appropriate to deliver personalized service.
• Prepare cocktails and other drinks by mixing ingredients precisely according to recipes, and develop unique beverage selections aligned with the outlet’s theme or guest requirements.
• Advise guests on excellent wine and food pairings tailored to the outlet’s concept or individual preferences, encouraging beverage upsell accordingly.
• Collaborate effectively with fellow bartenders to ensure seamless guest service and support team activities.
• Manage transactions accurately, ensuring all orders are processed and settled correctly.
• Maintain an appealing bar presentation by arranging bottles, glasses, and merchandise attractively and ensuring proper bar setup.

Candidate Profile

• Possess 2 to 4 years of bartending experience in 4-star or 5-star hotels, upscale restaurants, or premium beverage establishments, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Demonstrate strong expertise in mixology, beverage preparation, wines, spirits, cocktails, and responsible alcohol service, consistently maintaining elevated quality and standards.
• Proven leadership skills in supervising and training bartending staff and managing day-to-day bar operations to guarantee excellent guest satisfaction.
• Exemplary communication and interpersonal abilities to engage guests positively, manage feedback professionally, and drive sales through effective recommendations and upselling techniques.
• Experience in inventory control, stock management, cashiering procedures, and adherence to hygiene, health, safety, and service protocols.
