Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join the dynamic team at the Victoria Hotel in Galway. This role involves delivering friendly and efficient beverage services while maintaining high standards in a busy hotel environment.

Key Duties

• Consistently surpass guest expectations in cocktail and beverage preparation and service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area according to hotel sanitation standards.
• Collaborate effectively and communicate well with team members to uphold excellent team spirit throughout the hotel.
• Serve drinks knowledgeably and accurately, ensuring all guests receive thorough service.
• Engage with guests to gauge satisfaction, offer suitable recommendations, and respond promptly to any issues or requests.
• Assist with receiving bar deliveries and stock upkeep.
• Participate in mandatory training sessions arranged by management to continually enhance skills.
• Report faulty equipment and follow up to guarantee timely maintenance.
• Adhere strictly to financial processes related to guest billing, ensuring accurate shift closeouts and end-of-day balancing.

Qualifications and Experience

Previous experience in bartending and cashier responsibilities is essential for this position.
