Role Overview

We seek a skilled and guest-oriented Bartender to join our dedicated hospitality team at Fairmont The Red Sea in Umluj, Saudi Arabia. You will take the lead in crafting exquisite cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages, providing exceptional service in a refined resort setting. Your role as the face of bar services is essential in creating remarkable guest experiences through professional expertise and engaging interactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide range of non-alcoholic beverages based on established recipes and guest preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar station, ensuring all equipment and glassware are well-maintained.
• Offer informed suggestions related to beverage choices and menu items to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Accurately process sales transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system and handle payments reliably.
• Oversee inventory management including stock monitoring, placing orders, and reducing waste effectively.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Work collaboratively with front and back-of-house teams to provide seamless service.
• Engage guests warmly and professionally to foster positive relationships and encourage return visits.
• Remain calm and efficient during busy service periods within a fast-paced environment.
• Adhere strictly to company policies while upholding the Raffles brand's excellence.

Qualifications and Skills

• Demonstrated bartending experience in luxury hotels or upscale resort environments.
• Extensive knowledge of mocktail preparation and beverage service standards.
• Competence in using POS systems and bar management software.
• Sound understanding of non-alcoholic drink varieties.
• Proven abilities in handling cash and managing inventory responsibly.
• Superior customer service and communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse guests.
• Physical endurance to stand long hours and operate efficiently in a hectic setting.
• Attention to details concerning cleanliness and beverage presentation.
• Awareness of health and safety protocols relevant to bar services.
• Fluency in English with multilingual capabilities seen as an advantage.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian cultural and hospitality norms is preferred.
