Role Overview
We are looking for a well-organized and professional Front Office Supervisor to lead the front desk operations in Umluj, Saudi Arabia. This role demands managing daily front office functions, nurturing team performance, ensuring flawless guest experiences, and fostering collaboration between departments in a luxury resort setting.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee front office personnel including work schedules, skill development, and performance assessments
- Manage guest arrival and departure protocols to guarantee smooth and precise transactions
- Handle guest requests, issues, and complaints graciously and promptly
- Coordinate room allocation, booking management, and maximize occupancy to enhance revenue
- Ensure strict adherence to hotel policies, safety procedures, and confidentiality
- Deliver training on exceptional service standards, hotel systems, and processes
- Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to maintain seamless operations
- Supervise front office inventory and supply management
- Review operational data to implement strategies that improve efficiency and guest satisfaction
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate operational documentation and reports
- Consistently uphold the high-end service values of Fairmont The Red Sea
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A minimum of three years' experience in front office roles within hospitality
- Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong familiarity with hotel management and reservation technologies
- Excellent interpersonal and communication capabilities
- Exceptionally customer-focused with problem resolution expertise
- Effective multitasking aptitude in high-pressure situations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Organizational and time-management prowess
- Ability to inspire, train, and guide team members
- Professional appearance and conduct
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in luxury hotel environments
- Multilingual proficiency, especially in Arabic and English, plus additional languages
- Understanding of Saudi hospitality standards and cultural nuances
- Knowledge of revenue management and overall hotel operations
