Role Overview

The bartender will manage an innovative, world-class beverage program that complements Luna Restaurant operations within Clärchens Ballhaus. Reporting to the Luna Bar Manager and General Manager of Clärchens, the role involves overseeing all bar activities to ensure outstanding service. Building strong bonds with guests and team members is key, with an emphasis on hospitality, generosity, and managing uncertainties gracefully.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience executing detailed bar programs in prestigious, prominent entertainment or similar venues.
• Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment, contributing to operational workflows and providing versatile support to maintain Luna Restaurant & Bar’s integrity.
• Championing excellent service, recognizing its critical role in surpassing guest expectations and driving F&B success.
• Expert knowledge of wines and spirits, ensuring all drinks, ingredients, and preparation comply with health, safety, and company standards.
• Multitasking proficiencies, including warmly welcoming guests, creating cocktails, serving food and wines discreetly to ensure smooth service flow.
• Meticulous attention to bar maintenance tasks such as opening, closing, checklist completion, and upkeep of bar equipment.
• Thorough familiarity with the menu and beverage list, engaging guests with insightful and thoughtful recommendations.
• Competent use of POS systems for order processing and payment, fully understanding standard transactional procedures.
• Executing Luna Bar’s service sequence accurately and promptly to craft unforgettable guest experiences.
• Effective communication with servers to ensure timely beverage delivery and alerting management about inventory shortages.
• Prompt and impeccable customer service by anticipating guest needs and regularly providing feedback to leadership to enhance service quality.
• Active participation in operational meetings and team training to continuously improve menu knowledge and interdepartmental coordination.
• Proficiency in German and English to engage comfortably with guests and colleagues is advantageous.
