About the Role

As a barista at our Uxbridge Ontario location, you will create memorable customer experiences through friendly service and high-quality crafted beverages. The role involves engaging with customers, mastering beverage preparation, and contributing to a welcoming store environment where teamwork and customer interaction flourish.
Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer service by preparing quality food and beverages according to Starbucks' standards and customized requests.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain store safety and security policies.
- Operate efficiently in a busy, dynamic store atmosphere while keeping the workspace clean and organized.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth store operations and create a positive environment.
Requirements
- No prior experience necessary; training will be provided.
- Consistent punctuality and reliable attendance, with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Ability to communicate clearly and pleasantly with customers to understand and meet their needs.
- Capability to follow both oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed.
- Ability to confidently perform multiple tasks during a shift, including food and beverage preparation, cash handling, and maintaining store safety.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Comfortable learning new skills including the latest beverage recipes.
