About the Role

As a barista at our Calgary Trail S location, you will deliver the Starbucks Experience by serving customers with excellent service and skillfully crafted beverages in a lively store atmosphere. You'll have the opportunity to master your craft, collaborate with teammates, and create memorable moments for customers every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Create quality food and beverages following standard and customized recipes.
• Engage warmly with customers to understand and meet their needs through clear and friendly communication.
• Perform various store tasks during shifts, including cash handling, maintaining safety, and ensuring cleanliness and organization.
• Work collaboratively with team members to provide excellent service in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality while adapting to flexible work hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.

Qualifications and Skills

• No prior experience is needed; enthusiasm to learn is essential.
• Ability to learn quickly and follow oral and written instructions accurately.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Comfort with responsibilities such as cash handling and store safety measures.
• Capable of keeping a calm and organized workspace even during busy periods.
