Role Overview

They are searching for a skilled and passionate Barista to consistently craft exceptional coffee beverages and enhance customer experiences while upholding superior operational practices.

Key Duties

• Produce espresso-based drinks maintaining a high level of quality.
• Create well-textured milk and execute basic latte art designs.
• Adjust espresso grinders and calibrate settings throughout shifts.
• Ensure coffee machines are cleaned and maintained daily.
• Adhere strictly to food safety and hygiene guidelines.
• Serve customers with professionalism and efficiency.
• Assist in food preparation tasks as needed.
• Monitor inventory levels and promptly report shortages.
• Keep workspaces tidy, organized, and safe.
• Participate in opening and closing operations.
• Contribute ideas and efforts to continually improve café processes.

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrated prior experience as a Barista.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Presentable appearance with a positive and professional attitude.
• Strong aptitude for delivering excellent customer service.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and public holidays.
• Ability to maintain composure and efficiency under pressure.
• Dependable, punctual, and well organized.

Preferred Credentials

• Certification from the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) or another recognized barista training provider.
• Completion of professional barista education courses.
• Essential Food Safety Training (EFST) certification.
• Experience working with specialty grade coffee and commercial espresso equipment.
• Competence in basic latte art techniques.
