Job description

Role summary

This position is focused on delivering organised, efficient, and dependable administrative support for the ICRT, including clinical appointment management and record handling. The post also helps maintain smooth multidisciplinary working and supports consistent information flow across the service.

Key duties

The successful candidate will handle a broad range of administrative responsibilities with a degree of independence, working within set guidelines. The role includes managing administrative systems that support clinical care, carrying out delegated tasks for the Team Manager, and contributing to the daily coordination and control of team administration.

A major part of the job is accurate data entry and record management in the RIO system, along with helping train and support administrative colleagues in using that system. The role also serves as a first point of contact for BSMHFT and partner organisations, and involves sharing patient-related information appropriately within the Trust and with external agencies.

The post holder will be expected to interpret, analyse, and distribute relevant data across BSMHFT treatment partners such as probation services, court teams, police, and PCTs, while maintaining a high standard of accuracy in data input and reporting.
