Overview

The company operates across 13 offices worldwide, including locations in Asia and beyond.
The Community Stewardship team at Temasek oversees philanthropic assets and advances initiatives focusing on connecting communities, environmental protection, and capability development in Singapore and internationally. This position reports to the Director of Community Stewardship and functions within a flexible resource pool, contributing across multiple project streams based on organizational priorities. Collaboration is expected with internal teams from Temasek's global offices and external partners such as Temasek Trust, Temasek Foundation, and affiliated portfolio companies.
Key Duties
- Develop and strengthen strategic partnerships with Temasek's ecosystem, including portfolio companies and nonprofit entities, to promote collaborative philanthropic efforts and exchange insights.
- Identify and manage relationships with key stakeholders like government agencies, external collaborators, and internal departments to uphold Temasek's social license and ensure effective engagement.
- Support the design and oversight of Temasek's giving programs to enhance stakeholder relationships and brand value in operational markets.
- Collaborate with Temasek's Singapore and international teams to define regional focus areas, conduct partner mapping, and establish targeted partnerships across different markets.
- Contribute to additional Community Stewardship projects such as communications strategies and staff volunteer programs.
- Assist the Director on special projects as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
- Degree holder with 10 to 15 years of experience in a large corporate setting.
- Exceptional skills in stakeholder management, project coordination, and problem-solving, capable of rapid issue framing and insight generation.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively and strategize pursuits accordingly.
- Adaptable and resourceful in a fast-changing environment, capable of managing ambiguity while maintaining high-quality results.
- Clear and succinct communicator adept at synthesizing complex information and delivering actionable insights.
- Proficient in business writing and preparing presentations tailored for senior audiences.
- Attention to detail balanced with prompt task execution.
- Self-motivated, capable of handling multiple priorities independently.
- Collaborative team player who communicates effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in finance and basic contract review knowledge are advantageous.
- Background in social sector or engagement with international policy organizations is a plus.
