About the Role
King Toyota is seeking a full-time Automotive Technician to join their team in Upper Hutt, Wellington. The role involves performing servicing, maintenance, and repairs on vehicle systems, conducting test drives to identify defects, and collaborating closely with service advisors.
Primary Responsibilities
- Carry out vehicle servicing and system maintenance tasks
- Perform mechanical repairs as required
- Conduct test drives to diagnose vehicle issues
- Communicate effectively with service advisors regarding vehicle conditions and work status
Candidate Requirements
- Hold a minimum NZQA Level 4 qualification as a fully qualified Automotive Technician
- At least one year of experience working as an Automotive Technician
- Possession of a valid New Zealand Driver's Licence
- Warrant of Fitness (WOF) certification or a willingness to obtain certification
- Attention to accuracy and quality in work
- Strong work ethic with a readiness to embrace challenges
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
