Role Overview

Albany Toyota is looking for an additional Service Advisor to join its professional and welcoming team in Whangarei, Northland. This role suits someone who enjoys delivering outstanding customer service and is driven by achieving strong results. The Service Advisor acts as the central connection between customers and the workshop team, offering reliable guidance, clear updates, and a consistently high standard of service so that every customer visit is a positive one.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle customer questions and provide informed guidance on vehicle servicing and repairs.
  • Arrange service and repair bookings.
  • Support a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
  • Keep accurate records of customer conversations and interactions.
  • Recognise customer issues and take steps to resolve them.
  • Maintain a courteous, professional, and approachable manner at all times.
  • Update customer details and manage customer accounts.
  • Work closely with workshop staff so customer needs are delivered correctly.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.

About You

The ideal candidate will have strong people skills and be confident managing multiple priorities in a busy, fast-paced environment. Automotive industry experience is helpful, but not essential. You should be highly organised, detail-focused, and able to communicate clearly with both customers and internal teams. A full New Zealand driver’s licence is required, and you must be available to work Saturdays according to the roster.

This is a full-time role based in Northland, Whangarei. Applications close on 09 Jul 2026.
