Role overview
South Canterbury Toyota is hiring a full-time Vehicle Sales Assistant to join its high-performing team in Timaru, Canterbury. This position is suited to someone who is motivated, dependable and upbeat, and who enjoys supporting a busy sales operation while contributing to a strong customer experience.
The dealership is known for its award-winning performance, customer focus and team culture. As part of a group of more than 40 staff, you will be working in an environment that values collaboration, recognition and ongoing growth.
What the role involves
This role sits within the Vehicle Sales team and supports the wider sales process. It is a 40-hour per week position and includes some rostered Saturdays.
- Assisting Vehicle Consultants and the in-house Finance & Insurance Manager
- Handling vehicle and sales administration tasks
- Responding to and managing customer communications
- Helping with vehicle listings and ensuring vehicles are presented well
- Supporting a smooth and professional customer journey from start to finish
