Work Schedule

The position follows one of the following fixed schedules, except for religious observance:

• Sunday 7:00am-3:30pm, Monday 7:00am-3:30pm, Thursday 7:00am-3:30pm, Friday 7:00am-3:30pm, Saturday 7:00am-3:30pm
• Sunday 12:30pm-9:00pm, Monday 7:30am-4:00pm, Tuesday 7:30am-4:00pm, Friday 12:30pm-9:00pm, Saturday 7:30am-4:00pm

Role Summary

This role supports the company’s commitment to high cleanliness and safety standards. The Automotive Detailer/Car Washer is responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, inspecting, and preparing a range of vehicles so they are ready for customer rental use.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors in line with standard procedures.
• Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors, including cars, vans, and trucks.
• Review fuel levels and warning lights, inspect the windshield for damage, reset vehicle settings, remove customer belongings, and confirm registration details match the license plate.
• Check fluid levels, top them up when required, and inspect tires for condition, pressure, and tread depth.
• Identify exterior damage and other safety concerns, then report warnings, defects, or damage as needed.
• Fuel and stage vehicles for use.
• Keep the work area tidy and report unsafe or hazardous conditions immediately.
• Use equipment such as carpet shampoo machines and air purifiers to remove stains, pet hair, and odors.
• Support customers when needed, including possible transportation to and from branches.
• Help maintain the appearance of the site, including branch interiors and exteriors.
• Carry out cleaning tasks for desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, and the lot.
• Take ownership of self-improvement through feedback, training, skill building, and goal setting.
• Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid British Columbia full Class 5 driver’s license.
• No more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years.
• No drug- or alcohol-related conviction on the driving record in the past 5 years.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without present or future sponsorship.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds when helping customers.
• Must be available for one of the listed schedules, apart from religious observance.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
