Position Overview
This three-year apprenticeship starting August 1, 2027, is for the role of Industriekaufmann (industrial clerk) with DB InfraGO AG in Leipzig. The vocational school is also located in Leipzig near the Völkerschlachtdenkmal.
Training Content and Responsibilities
- Develop versatility in commercial business fields.
- Focus on invoice verification, learning how infrastructure projects are conducted at DB, budget allocation, and verifying invoices and payments for accuracy.
- Gain exposure to various departments including Marketing, Human Resources, and Controlling.
- Contribute to cross-departmental projects and understand business management processes.
- Learn to analyze value-added processes and make informed economic decisions.
Candidate Profile
- Successful completion or imminent completion of secondary school (at least intermediate school leaving certificate) recognized in Germany.
- German language skills at least at B2 level.
- Interest and enjoyment in mathematics and numerical tasks.
- Quick comprehension and enthusiasm for new things.
- Proficiency with computers and common software applications.
- Reliability, conscientiousness, and ability to work well in teams.
