Auditor - Gold Loan

Job Overview

This role involves managing audits related to gold loans with a focus on timely and quality execution across branches.

Main Responsibilities

• Perform accurate gold loan valuation employing standard appraisal techniques.
• Conduct thorough purity checks of pledged collateral using all available methods.
• Ensure branch audits adhere strictly to established turnaround times (TAT) and quality standards.
• Systematically verify gold stock in branches monthly to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Review past audit reports, confirming compliance or highlighting any deviations.
• Inspect security protocols during audits, including proper functioning of burglary alarms, CCTV systems, and weighing scales; ensure branches follow all security procedures.
• Be prepared for frequent travel across states or locations to conduct audits and support related functions.
• Lead training sessions for branch staff focused on gold loan valuations to enhance knowledge and awareness.
• Maintain integrity by conducting all transactions transparently, avoiding any conflicts of interest.
• Protect company assets entrusted for job responsibilities diligently.
• Demonstrate proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations.
• Advocate strong work ethics, consistently delivering results within tight deadlines and challenging conditions.
• Be willing to spend significant time in fieldwork and undertake sudden regional travel.
• Handle additional responsibilities as required by the department.
• Exhibit effective managerial capabilities and support team development.

Educational and Experience Requirements

• Graduation degree in Engineering, Technology, Mathematics, Commerce, Arts, Science, Biology, Business, Computers, or Management.
• Postgraduate degree such as MBA preferred.
• 5 to 10 years of relevant work experience.
