Position Overview

Join St. Regis Hotels & Resorts as an Attendant-Door, responsible for welcoming guests, assisting with their arrival and departure, and ensuring a smooth and luxurious experience. This role emphasizes excellent guest interaction, property knowledge, and maintaining a professional appearance, all while strictly adhering to company policies and safety regulations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and escort them to their rooms, ensuring a hospitable and professional reception.
• Open doors and assist guests and visitors as they enter and exit the property.
• Communicate details about hotel amenities, services, operation hours, and nearby attractions.
• Explain room features, such as use of room keys, mini-bar, ice and vending machines, in-room safes, and valet laundry services.
• Transport guest luggage to and from rooms or designated bell areas and manage luggage storage and retrieval.
• Assist guests in and out of vehicles and help with luggage loading and unloading.
• Provide guests with directions and organize transportation services like taxis, shuttle buses, or limousine bookings, including logging advance requests.
• Inform guests about parking rules and procedures.
• Maintain vigilance regarding security by reporting accidents, unsafe conditions, or suspicious individuals to management.
• Keep a clean and professional uniform and appearance, protect confidential information, and foster positive interactions with guests and team members.
• Adapt physical movements as needed, including walking, running, standing for extended periods, and safely handling luggage and other objects up to 50 pounds solo or over 75 pounds with assistance.
• Perform additional job duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications and Preferences

• Minimum education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• No previous related work or supervisory experience required.
• No licenses or certifications necessary.
