About the Role and Company

Positioned at the heart of Transaction Banking for APAC, this Associate role based in Singapore offers an opportunity to manage client interactions and ensure the smooth functioning of the Trade Payables Services platform for buyers and suppliers across multiple countries.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for APAC buyers and suppliers through the Supply Chain Finance Support inbox, ensuring timely and professional handling of all enquiries.
- Manage client requests related to payment status, settlement schedules, eligible invoices, and discount rates while adhering to service level agreements.
- Provide guidance and troubleshooting support for the TPS platform to internal teams and clients, ensuring effective platform use.
- Monitor open cases closely, manage client expectations, escalate complex matters appropriately, and identify trends to suggest process enhancements.
- Proactively engage with clients to understand their needs, support onboarding and acquisition efforts, and contribute to knowledge base improvements.
- Keep detailed records of queries, solutions, system changes, user onboarding/offboarding and ensure accurate access rights and account updates.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as Operations, Technology, Risk, and Compliance as well as Relationship Managers to resolve issues and generate reports on volume, trends, and SLA performance.
- Develop deep knowledge of the TPS platform through training, testing, and briefings, assisting with client implementation and providing feedback for platform updates.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of three years’ experience in client service or operations within financial services or trade finance, emphasizing attention to detail.
- Experience with Supply Chain Finance, Payables Finance, or related trade finance products is strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Commerce, or relevant fields.
- Familiarity with digital platforms for transaction banking, including troubleshooting expertise; knowledge of transaction banking systems is advantageous.
- Understanding of APAC markets and regional business norms.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and experience using CRM or ticketing software such as JIRA or Salesforce.
- Strong ability to interpret financial transactions, payment flows, and account structures to provide clear guidance.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills to manage multiple inquiries efficiently and maintain professional client relationships.
- Commitment to ongoing learning through training sessions, user acceptance testing, and briefings.
