Role Overview
The Regional End User Employee Experience Lead will oversee and guide onsite end-user support operations throughout the APAC region. This position provides strategic and hands-on leadership to onsite support teams based in Singapore and other APAC locations, ensuring uniform, top-tier service quality for physical workplaces.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise non-trading End User Onsite Support teams across APAC, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality onsite technology assistance.
- Provide both strategic direction and daily operational management of support services covering laptops, desktops, peripherals, meeting room tech, collaboration tools, and workspace environments.
- Develop, implement, and manage a standardized regional operating framework aligned with the global End User Services strategy.
- Utilize deep End User Computing expertise to steer technical standards and resolve intricate issues involving endpoints, VDI platforms, and Microsoft 365.
- Create and maintain standardized processes, tools, and procedures for onsite support to ensure consistency across APAC.
- Serve as the primary regional escalation point for major incidents, service interruptions, and operational risks affecting onsite services.
- Allocate regional support resources appropriately across multiple locations, time zones, and office settings to meet business demands.
- Manage endpoint asset inventory and lifecycle, including procurement, refresh cycles, tracking, and decommissioning across APAC.
- Lead patching and vulnerability management initiatives for endpoints, ensuring timely remediation representing security and risk compliance.
- Collaborate with Cyber Security, Infrastructure, and Risk Management teams to minimize endpoint-related risks and uphold governance controls.
- Support audits, regulatory inspections, and risk assessments by ensuring effective controls and readiness of evidence.
- Establish and maintain comprehensive knowledge management, including runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
- Drive continuous improvement programs leveraging automation and scripting to reduce manual workload within onsite operations.
- Champion employee skill development focusing on EUC, VDI, Microsoft 365, endpoint technology, and modern workplace support.
- Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, service excellence, and ongoing enhancement.
- Engage with senior stakeholders and regional technology leaders to communicate service performance, risks, and improvement strategies.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in End User Computing or End User Services within a large financial services enterprise environment.
- Proven leadership of regional onsite support teams spread across multiple APAC countries.
- Strong expertise in Windows OS, ThinOS, VDI, Microsoft 365, and endpoint management platforms including Tanium, Intune, or MECM/SCCM.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Practical experience with automation and scripting tools such as PowerShell and Python to enhance operational workflows and reporting.
- Knowledge and experience in process standardization, regional operating model alignment, and service consistency delivery.
- Thorough understanding of endpoint patching, vulnerability management, and security control frameworks.
- Experience supporting office productivity, collaboration tools, meeting room technologies, and audiovisual hardware.
- Familiarity with analytics and reporting tools like Power BI and Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps).
- Experience with ServiceNow IT Service Management and modern workplace support technologies.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, adept at balancing strategic oversight with operational execution.
- Prior experience in a VP-level or equivalent senior leadership capacity.
- Background in banking, heavily regulated sectors, or large global enterprises.
- Demonstrated success in leading regional service transformation and modernization efforts.
