Job description

Position Overview

The Associate Product Manager for Extremities & Trauma will spearhead product marketing strategies and provide tactical assistance across New Zealand. This role demands coordination with key opinion leader healthcare professionals (KOL HCP surgeons) and supporting the nationwide sales team, with anticipated travel approximately one week every four weeks. The role operates from the Auckland (Parnell) office, leveraging Arthrex's ArthroLab for educating and demonstrating the Extremities & Trauma product suite.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and implement product marketing strategies to meet goals and budgets for Extremities & Trauma products.
  • Lead execution of product launches and prioritize product pipelines.
  • Design and deploy digital marketing strategies and communication campaigns.
  • Establish and nurture key customer relationships to cultivate KOLs.
  • Collaborate with Medical Education and Sales teams to organize educational sessions, events, and conferences tailored for surgeons.
  • Partner with Marketing, Regulatory, and Commercial teams to develop and distribute promotional assets and communications.
  • Provide technical product expertise and training resources for the sales force aligned with product strategy.
  • Support the Commercial team in tendering and contract activities relevant to the product line.

Candidate Profile

  • Qualified health science or marketing/sales tertiary degree holder.
  • Hands-on experience in an Operating Theatre environment.
  • Proven successful sales record within the Extremities & Trauma category, either in sales or marketing roles.
  • Strong team player with a relationship-driven, long-term sales approach.
  • Ability to think strategically and proactively challenge customers constructively.
  • Ideal candidates might be clinical specialists, junior sales/marketing professionals transitioning to marketing, or allied healthcare professionals like theatre nurses with marketing or business education exposure.
