About the Role

As an Associate in our Finance & Accounting Credit Management team, you will play a key role in supporting budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and operations. You will ensure accurate and timely financial data while adhering to internal controls and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the yearly credit-related budget preparation and financial forecasting.
  • Support analysis of Free Cash Flow (FCF) and manage working capital planning.
  • Calculate and monitor monthly bad debt provisions compliant with relevant accounting standards.
  • Handle general accounting tasks including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing procedures.
  • Coordinate with both internal and external auditors, delivering prompt and accurate audit responses.
  • Generate periodic and ad-hoc management reports and dashboards covering credit performance, cash flow, and financial indicators.
  • Maintain adherence to internal controls, company policies, and accounting standards.
  • Engage in continuous improvement activities focused on enhancing finance and credit management processes.
  • Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned by the Associate Director.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • University degree in Accountancy or Finance from a recognized institution.
  • At least 2 years’ relevant experience in auditing, accounting, or financial analysis; exposure to Big 4 firms is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of accounting frameworks such as IFRS or Singapore FRS.
  • Strong analytical thinking, numerical aptitude, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP or financial systems like SAP or Oracle.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High level of organization, ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.
  • Demonstrated teamwork, integrity, and accountability.
