About the Role

As an Associate in our Finance & Accounting Credit Management team, you will play a key role in supporting budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and operations. You will ensure accurate and timely financial data while adhering to internal controls and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the yearly credit-related budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Support analysis of Free Cash Flow (FCF) and manage working capital planning.
- Calculate and monitor monthly bad debt provisions compliant with relevant accounting standards.
- Handle general accounting tasks including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing procedures.
- Coordinate with both internal and external auditors, delivering prompt and accurate audit responses.
- Generate periodic and ad-hoc management reports and dashboards covering credit performance, cash flow, and financial indicators.
- Maintain adherence to internal controls, company policies, and accounting standards.
- Engage in continuous improvement activities focused on enhancing finance and credit management processes.
- Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned by the Associate Director.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- University degree in Accountancy or Finance from a recognized institution.
- At least 2 years’ relevant experience in auditing, accounting, or financial analysis; exposure to Big 4 firms is a plus.
- Solid understanding of accounting frameworks such as IFRS or Singapore FRS.
- Strong analytical thinking, numerical aptitude, and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP or financial systems like SAP or Oracle.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High level of organization, ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.
- Demonstrated teamwork, integrity, and accountability.
