Role overview
This position supports airline marketing and aircraft leasing activity for a designated region. The role focuses on originating opportunities, supporting transaction execution, maintaining customer relationships, and helping ensure that leasing and portfolio trading projects are managed smoothly from analysis through reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Build new business in the assigned region by originating airline-led opportunities across multiple transaction structures, including sale-and-leaseback, aircraft and engine remarketing, and related customer activities.
- Develop pricing models and prepare analytical reports to support investment and transaction decisions.
- Manage airline relationships in the region to support aircraft and engine acquisition opportunities, including sale-and-leaseback and JOLCO transactions.
- Identify and execute remarketing opportunities for owned and managed aircraft and engines, including lease extensions and transition-related activity.
- Maintain current customer relationships while also developing ties with new airline and other customers.
- Track market conditions and industry intelligence, and analyse airline performance using financial statements and operational data.
- Work with internal teams to assess all parts of a transaction, including structuring, credit, technical, tax, accounting, financing, and legal considerations.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders so that daily and other reporting obligations for aircraft leasing and portfolio trading projects are delivered on time.
- Follow up with relevant parties to keep reporting up to date and resolve transaction issues promptly.
- Support the coordination of aircraft leasing and portfolio trading projects end to end.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Management, Law, Aviation/Avionic Engineering, Air Transportation, or a related field is required.
- At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in aviation-related business is needed.
- Strong communication skills, a confident and outgoing personality, and a willingness to travel frequently are important.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills are expected, especially strong Excel modelling ability.
- Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
- The ideal candidate should be proactive, self-driven, collaborative, and focused on customer needs.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage several tasks at once, and take ownership of projects is essential.
