Role Overview
As the Assistant to the Regional Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role beyond mere administrative support. Collaborating closely with our Regional Operations Manager, you will actively influence the development of the circular economy's future.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze regional key performance indicators and provide direct support to the Operations Manager, identifying causes for deviations from targets and proposing initial corrective measures for joint review.
- After coordination with the Operations Manager, oversee implementation of agreed actions across branches, assisting branch managers and dispatchers to collectively meet operational objectives.
- Support the Operations Manager throughout the cost estimation process for new business ventures, conduct independent post-calculations, contribute to logistics projects, and organize training sessions to enhance on-site performance.
- Engage in process optimization and strategic planning by accompanying operational projects, monitoring deadlines, and preparing insightful presentations and reports for the Southern Management Team.
- This position serves as a launchpad, deeply involving you in all operational and strategic processes to prepare you for advanced roles and future leadership positions within our company.
Qualifications and Skills
- Successful academic background in Business Administration with a focus on Logistics or Logistics Management, complemented by initial solid experience in project management or interface roles, preferably within logistics, waste management, or industrial sectors.
- Strong affinity for numbers and proficiency with IT tools such as Google Workspace, capable of translating complex data into strategic action items.
- Ability to organize complicated workflows effectively, independently prioritize tasks under pressure, and reliably meet deadlines.
- A commitment to a respectful leadership culture, demonstrating poise and tact that convincingly engages both management and operational teams on site.
- Willingness to travel regionally and immerse deeply in daily operations to identify opportunities for improvement directly at their source.
