Key Responsibilities

• Support the store's performance by managing key operational areas including sales results, expense control, merchandising, inventory oversight, customer service, cash office, markdowns, scheduling, shipping, and receiving.
• Focus on minimizing shrinkage and damages within the store to protect assets.
• Lead recruitment and retention efforts to attract top talent while providing thorough training and development for Associates.
• Act as a mentor and positive role model to cultivate a supportive and engaging atmosphere for both staff and customers.
• Communicate and enforce store policies, company projects, targets, and initiatives to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Offer input on succession planning to prepare for the store’s future leadership needs.
• Implement strategies to meet sales, expense, and customer service objectives, while coordinating operational programs related to loss prevention and store layout improvements.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a minimum of 2 years retail leadership experience in assistant or store manager roles.
• Demonstrate capability to lead, inspire, and develop large teams effectively.
• Exhibit excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to influence and provide constructive feedback.
• Have thorough knowledge in store operations including customer service, merchandising, people management, health and safety standards, and loss prevention practices, paired with strong execution skills.
