Role Overview
Our retail stores are pivotal to our success, representing the brand's direct connection to consumers. The Assistant Store Manager is integral to creating an exceptional in-store experience that aligns with the brand's identity. This role demands leadership, a passion for the brand, and the drive to inspire team members to deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining impeccable store standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead store teams to boost sales, maximize profits, limit losses, and ensure a distinctive, well-maintained shopping environment.
- Collaborate across departments to identify and act on business growth opportunities and enhance overall performance.
- Ensure compliance with corporate visual merchandising guidelines for sales areas and stockrooms in partnership with the visual merchandising team.
- Support store management in seizing business prospects to fulfill company goals and uphold standards.
- Emphasize the importance of building strong relationships with customers and hold staff accountable for delivering exceptional service that encourages repeat visits.
- Conduct regular store evaluations examining product performance, pricing, staff service quality, and inventory levels.
- Communicate sales drivers and operational priorities to the Store Manager, helping to formulate weekly visual merchandising plans.
- Analyze store reports and develop strategic action plans to improve outcomes.
- Assist in manpower planning, recruitment, interviewing, and hiring processes to foster diverse and skilled store teams.
- Help develop internal talent pipeline in collaboration with the Store Manager, preparing potential successors for key roles.
- Participate actively in weekly management and staff meetings.
- Set clear sales targets and performance expectations for staff, provide feedback, and guide improvements.
- Ensure customers enjoy an outstanding shopping journey resulting in excellent mystery shopping scores.
Candidate Profile
- Proven supervisory or specialized experience within premium or luxury brand retail environments.
- Demonstrated experience managing people effectively, including conflict resolution and fostering teamwork.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build a sense of belonging among team members.
