This opening is for a Retail Assistant Manager / Assistant Store Leader Trainee. It is a full-time, on-site position for someone who enjoys working with a management team and has prior supervisory experience. Role expectations
- Work with the Store Leader to supervise store employees, coach the team, and support customer service leadership.
- Help attract and retain strong employees by supporting hiring, leadership development, employee empowerment, and productivity.
- Assist with merchandising and marketing initiatives in the store.
- Handle cash and fuel-related transactions and encourage loyalty program participation.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-stocked store by following health and sanitation standards.
- Communicate clearly in both spoken and written form, and work effectively with others.
- Use computers comfortably, especially Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Manage multiple tasks while standing, bending, reaching, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.
Additional requirements
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred, but candidates with at least one year of retail management experience may still be considered without it.
- A valid driver’s license from the state or province of residence is required, along with maintained automotive liability insurance throughout employment.
- Applicants must be able to work as part of a management team and bring prior supervisory experience.

Compensation notice
The posted hourly wage range is $18.00 to $24.25. The company states that pay may ultimately be above or below the advertised range, depending on applicable policies, plans, and other lawful factors.
