Position Summary
The Assistant Relationship Manager supports Relationship Managers (RMs) servicing Private Banking clients by providing essential administrative and client service assistance within the front office.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver administrative and client service support for Relationship Managers handling Private Banking clients.
- Address client inquiries and instructions, resolving most issues and requests efficiently.
- Monitor client account transactions and activities to ensure accuracy.
- Assist RMs in delivering financial advisory services to clients.
- Maintain comprehensive client data and reports, including contact lists, account details, and credit review statuses.
- Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, preparing correspondence, organizing travel, arranging meetings and receptions, and producing presentation materials.
- Collaborate with Product Groups, Operations, and other departments as needed to ensure smooth workflows.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements at all times.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in client servicing, operations, or sales support within the financial services sector.
- Possession of a Bachelor's degree or diploma from a recognized institution.
- Solid understanding of financial products and services.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and client-facing skills.
- Highly meticulous with strong attention to detail.
- A forward-thinking mindset, embracing innovation and adaptability.
- Strong teamwork abilities with effective cross-departmental collaboration skills.
- Capability to thrive under fast-paced conditions while maintaining empathy, passion, and resilience.
- Certification such as CACS is preferred.
- Proficiency in Chinese is essential due to direct engagement with Chinese clientele.
